Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. However, there were a few issues with service that affected our experience.
The hotel had good-sized, spotless rooms, although they could use a spruce up and comfier beds. The service, especially from the birthday girl staff member and energetic DJ, was fantastic but lacked follow-up. The location was lovely but limited taxi options for larger groups. The dining experience was mixed with excellent customized meals but also some hiccups. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were large, clean, and well-appointed, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay, although they were showing some signs of aging. The service was friendly and efficient, with a few areas for improvement in providing clearer information. The location was convenient, nestled in a rural setting close to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, making it ideal for exploring. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes below expectations but others cooked to perfection.
